to provide compassionate, community-driven support of high quality to individuals with lifelimiting illness and their families. Through education, respite care, outreach services and advocacy, we aim to enhance quality of life, ensure dignity in end-of-life care and support families throughout their journey.
Rosehaven Hospice emerged from a collective vision within our community—to provide compassionate, community-based palliative care in a setting outside of the hospital. We strive to offer care that feels as close to home as possible, ensuring that individuals nearing the end of life receive the dignity, comfort and support they deserve.
Nestled in 4.5 acres of tranquil gardens, Rosehaven is a welcoming five-bedroom home dedicated to offering compassionate, non-clinical support for individuals and families in the Mansfield & North-East Victoria district. Our aim is to foster a safe, nurturing space where comfort and dignity are prioritised during life’s most challenging moments.
Since its inception, Rosehaven has worked closely with the local community and healthcare providers to offer a holistic approach to respite, palliative and end-of-life care, addressing not just physical needs but also emotional, social and spiritual aspects.
Our dedicated team of qualified staff and passionate volunteers receive ongoing training to ensure that they uphold the highest standards of care. Their dedication is the heart of our work, enabling us to provide the crucial care that our community relies on. We couldn’t do it without them!
As a not-for-profit charitable organisation with DGR status, Rosehaven depends on the generosity of donations, bequests and philanthropic support to maintain our essential services.
