Compassionate Respite Care: Supporting Carers and Guests

Rosehaven offers a serene respite environment on 4.5 acres of established gardens, providing a “home away from home” experience with person-centered care from our friendly, qualified staff.

Caring for someone can be both rewarding and demanding, often strengthening relationships but also presenting significant challenges during vulnerable times.

Our respite services allow carers to rest and recharge or attend to personal commitments while their loved ones are welcomed into our home. Guests can engage in activities tailored to their interests and needs, ensuring quality of life for the entire family and supporting their mental and physical well-being.

We Offer the Following Respite Services

We can provide respite services under the following funding streams: Aged Care Package, NDIS or privately funded.

Referrals by individuals, carers, or health care professionals are accepted.

Day Respite

Monday to Friday 10 – 4pm or as negotiated.

We provide support and care for individuals, allowing caregivers to take a much-needed short break—ranging from one hour to a full day.

At Rosehaven, we take pride in our person-centered approach, welcoming pets to visit, assisting with appointments and encouraging your loved ones to visit during your stay. We’re dedicated to supporting your daily routines and adjusting our schedule to fit your needs.

Overnight and Weekend Respite

By appointment and based on care needs.

Rosehaven can tailor this to meet specific needs, with the option of a primary carer staying with you and being looked after also if required.

Respite is designed around our guests’ requests; it is important to maintain routine and ensure all needs are catered for, so if you have an appointment or would like a meal out, we will aim to cater your time with us around the activities that you find important.

Short Term Transitional Care

People requiring additional care between hospital and home may also find sanctuary to rest and recover at Rosehaven.

We can assist you to regain confidence to return to your own home. Your GP and allied health professionals are welcome to visit you while you are our guest – we will work with you to achieve the best outcome for you.

We understand that Carers need support too. We can provide emergency respite, advice, information and self care activities. Let us know how we can help.
